Join Us: Fellow in Improvement Science – ST3+

In collaboration with Health Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) and the London Deanery, we are delighted to establish a Fellowship in Improvement Science.

The aim of the Fellowship is, by enabling a junior doctor to develop the skills necessary to work across the interface between research and quality improvement, to promote the need for and application of such skills in clinical practice and thus enhance competence and professionalism in improvement science, especially that related to HQIP’s primary interests.

The post holder will develop their skills by working on projects within Improvement Science London (ISL), a collaborative venture housed within University College London Partners on behalf of London’s three Academic Health Science Centres. The post holder will also be expected to take a lead educational role in improving knowledge and skills in data-driven and evidence-based quality improvement across London’s postgraduate trainee population.

Where the Fellowship will be based

The Fellowship will be based with ISL in London and will work across two organisations; ISL (~ 6 sessions per week) and an NHS organisation (~4 sessions per week including clinical commitment as outlined below).
